What is Metamintron?
Metamitron is a pre-emergence and post-emergence herbicide used to control broad-leaved weeds and grasses in sugar beets. Metamitron is a member of the class of 1,2,4-triazines that is 1,2,4-triazin-5(4H)-one substituted by an amino group at position 4, a methyl group at position 3 and a phenyl group at position 6. It has a role as an environmental contaminant, a xenobiotic and a herbicide.

Uses
Photosynthesis inhibitor. It is mainly used to control monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds such as Solanum, Chrysanthemum, Bluegrass, Dioscorea nigra, Sorrel, etc. It is suitable for sugar beet and fodder beet. The half-life is three months. Use dose 3.5-5.0kg/(a.i.)/hm2
